Valuable Websites

I love these websites, some for my reference and some as people I've actually formed great relationships with. I get no compensation, nor are these affiliate links.  Just honest tips from me to you.

www.flylady.net  - be organized, have a clean house, lose weight, and change your life step by step with tips and tools from this website.

www.loveandlogic.com  - a great site for parents, teachers, and anyone involved with kids.  It has even helped me deal with a few adults in my life.

www.thejobsearchguru.com - take a look at Leslie Ayers, the job search guru.  I used her ebook and recommend it to my clients.

www.cheapskatemonthly.com  - get debt free, go green, and find other money and time-saving tips at this site by author Mary Hunt.

Great Books

Any book by Deborah Tannen, Tony Robbins, or Dr. Phil McGraw. Oldies, but goodies. Try books from the Dummies series, and learn something new!

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions—you will have them. I will have them. It’s natural and a smart move for us to ask each other a few questions before we choose to start on our
coaching quest.

Questions you might have for me:

1. What kind of things will I have to talk about or do?

During coaching sessions, you talk about what YOU want to talk about.  The sessions are yours to direct as far as topics.  You don't have to bring up sensitive subjects unless they are part of your goals.

2. How long does coaching take?

I have coached clients short- and long-term.  Some clients may have one specific goal to accomplish, and others add new goals as we work together.  I typically see that clients will get the most success from at least three months of coaching.

3. How will you help me reach my goals?

I will be your sounding board and your accountability partner.  I'll ask you about what you want to accomplish and what steps you feel are realistic to take from
session to session as we move towards the end goal.

4. What will I get out of this experience?

My clients have gained empowerment over their lives and a sense of accomplishment. The most common feedback I get is that they appreciate having someone objective who will listen and help them get to their goals without judgment.

Questions I might have for you:

1. What do you want to accomplish?

2. What are your dreams?

3. Are you willing to look hard at yourself and your current behaviors—and possibly stop doing or start doing things that will get you to your goals?
